Meet Your Speech Therapist

Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist passionate about helping young children build communication and feeding skills in ways that feel natural and meaningful for the whole family. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida. I have experience working in outpatient hospital settings, schools, private practice, and PPEC, supporting children with a wide range of communication and feeding needs.

I have special interests in early communication, feeding therapy, and motor speech, and I’m deeply committed to continuing education to provide the best care possible for the families I work with. I was honored to receive an ACE Award through ASHA for continuing education, reflecting my passion for lifelong learning and evidence-based care.

Becoming a mom has greatly shaped the way I approach therapy and parent coaching. It has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges families face and the importance of realistic, manageable carryover strategies that fit into everyday life.

My approach is child-led, play-based, and family-centered, with a strong focus on helping families feel heard, supported, and involved every step of the way. I love building meaningful connections with children and caregivers while creating therapy experiences that feel engaging, encouraging, and personalized to each child’s unique strengths and needs—because I know how important it is for families to feel supported not only in therapy sessions, but in everyday life as well.

Outside of work, you can usually find me spending time outdoors, traveling, or making memories with my family.
